Different kinds of online protection tools

Every day we hear different things about the accounts of people being hacked. Just lately, one of my friends told me that she got a message about her email being account being accessed from the UK, while she didn’t leave her home that day, and she didn’t know anyone residing or even visited UK.

That was the time when I told her that should be protected online by connecting through one of the best VPN softwares. She replied by saying that she has a good anti-virus program and firewall to protect her already, but hacking still happened to her. I explained her difference between PC protection tools and VPN.

Due to the dilemma of my friends, I understood that several people can’t tell the difference between VPN connections, firewalls and antivirus programs.

Firewall

A firewell works as a barrier to block harmful sites accessing your computer system. It is appropriately called “firewall” that works to stop fire from spreading from the area it originated, to the next location beside it. It may even block Grammarly alternatives considering them as harmful software.

Anti-virus

Anti-virus programs are software that detects harmful viruses, and stops them from entering the computer system. They also work by eradicating viruses that already entered your system, like computer worm, malware, computer viruses, spyware, adware, and Trojan horses. There are many sites that offer this kind of software along with funny whatsapp group name.

VPN

The best VPN softwares work by creating a virtual safe tunnel, where the data that passes through becomes encrypted. It will be impossible to decrypt even for a hacker.

Among all the three, VPN is the best option to protect your system whenever you connect to the internet. You never know who may be planning to hack your computer, waiting to steal your private data; hence it is best to stay protected always.
